Just had the nicest stay here! The rooms and hotel are decorated so beautifully with a real attention to detail. We were delighted to be treated to some lovely biscuits and brownies on arrival. I had a bath whilst looking out at the Yorkshire hills..absolute heaven. Steve and Andy are super friendly and make a delicious breakfast. Can't recommend this place enough. An absolute gem!

Me and my wife treated ourselves to a night at Holmleigh Manor and we had a fantastic stay. The room was amazing with lovely extra touches such as homemade sweet treats and luxury coffee/tea bags. The huge roll top bath is a brilliant addition with spectacular views across the valley. We were blown away by the breakfast which came with delicious home made toasted bread, fresh fruit and an amazing full English. The hosts are fantastic and cannot do enough to make your stay as memorable as possible. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Holmleigh Manor and we will certainly be back. Thanks again.

What a wonderful experience from the moment we all arrived .Steve was warm and welcoming from the minute he opened the door. Andy was busy cutting perfect patterns in the lawn but was just as lovely. We were blown away by the tasteful decor , the attention to detail in every room, the BATH, the views, the special touches like homemade cakes marked “eat me “and water from their well marked “drink me” it really was like wonderland. The breakfast was incredible too but sadly we had to rush away. We have just booked again and can’t wait to come back . You are amazing hosts with an amazing home/ business. Zoey and Chris x

We had Holmleigh manor recommended to us by friends. Just spent a night in the best place ever. From the moment of arrival, we were welcomed with iron arms, love the special touches of sweet treats and chocolate in the room. The rooms are unique and beautifully decorated, the bath in the window was amazing, breakfast was delicious and again a lovely experience - all locally sourced, homemade bread and jams. We will definitely be going again!

Absolutely outstanding B&B. The building is a 200 year old Manor House, beautifully decorated throughout and spotlessly clean. The accommodation is of a very high standard and no expense was spared in the conversion to a luxury B&B. Lots of nice little touches such as home made cookies and brownies in the room on arrival, bottled water from their own well and luxury toiletries such as Molton Brown. A massive bed, free standing roll top bath (as well as a gorgeous shower in the en-suite) and fantastic views across the valley come as standard in the 2 rooms at the front of the house. The breakfast is amazing with a pot of Greek yoghurt, layers of fresh fruit and oats to start, fruit juice, home made bread toast, teas, coffees and a choice of main course - full English, eggs Benedict etc - the breakfast really is 1st class. The 2 guys who run Holmleigh Manor, Steve and Andy are lovely and can’t do enough for you. Holmleigh Manor is a little more expensive than your typical B&B, but then it is much, much more than a B&B - it is by far the best I have ever stayed in (and it’s not even close). We’ve already booked in again before our current stay has finished. Highly recommended. Chris & Debbie

We are happy returning customers! Holmleigh Manor is immaculate and beautifully decorated and we loved the stunning views of the countryside. Steve and Andy are incredibly friendly and our breakfast was exceptional. The complimentary home bakes treats were a charming touch. The entrance to the BnB is on the B6107 road - Google maps will erroneously take you to Church Street.

Enjoyed a lovely stay at Holmleigh Manor. The room was beautiful, clean and decadent with fantastic views of the valley. The hosts were warm and welcoming, and made our stay even more special, nothing was ever too much trouble. The stay was topped off with a delicious home cooked breakfast. Will definitely be returning.

We stayed for one night and it wasn't enough, neither of us wanted to leave. The place is absolutely amazing. The room was huge and so beautifully decorated. We had a roll top bath in our room, which we couldn't resist! Everywhere was impeccably clean and inviting. We were greeted with a box of goodies, a wonderful choice of teas, hot chocolate and the best coffee bags I've ever tasted. There were chocolates on our pillows, it was so nice, there was even a little jar of sweeties too. Breakfast was something else, fresh fruit and yogurt parfait to start, home made bread then a full English to follow, which was to die for. Steve and Andy are the perfect hosts, always smiling and they are super friendly. I cannot recommend a stay at Holmleigh Manor enough. It was simply perfect, 5 stars aren't enough!
